This guide covers merchandise for the Dropship Unlocked community—not products to source and resell through a dropshipping business. Use it to compare products, check sizing and understand what to consider before ordering for yourself or as a gift.
Choosing clothing: style, fit and fabric
Hoodie or sweatshirt—which should I choose?
Choose the hoodie for its hood and pouch pocket, or the sweatshirt for a crew-neck layer without a hood. The hoodie has drawstrings and a three-panel hood; the sweatshirt has a fleece interior, ribbed neckline, cuffs and hem.
For working from home, consider whether you use a front pocket. For travelling to a community event, think about whether you prefer a hood or a simpler neckline underneath your jacket.

How do I choose the right clothing size?
Our hoodie and sweatshirt run small, so we recommend starting with one size larger than your usual size—and checking the measurements before ordering.
Compare the chart with a similar garment you already own. Lay that garment flat without stretching it, then measure its width and length. Compare flat width with flat width, not with your full chest circumference.
Use the chart labelled for the exact product you are buying. The T-shirt has a separate chart, so do not automatically apply the hoodie’s sizing adjustment to it. Allow enough room for any layers you intend to wear underneath.

Before ordering an uncertain size, check the exchange arrangements.
How do cotton and cotton blends compare?
Cotton is absorbent, while cotton-polyester blends generally dry more quickly and resist creasing. Comfort also depends on the fabric’s construction and fit, not simply its fibre percentages.
Our hoodie and sweatshirt both have a stated composition of 65% cotton and 35% polyester, so composition alone is not a reason to choose one over the other. Their neckline, hood and pocket differences are more useful deciding factors.
What does fabric weight tell me about a T-shirt?
Fabric weight indicates how substantial the fabric is—not how much the finished T-shirt weighs or how good it is.
It is commonly expressed in grams per square metre, or GSM. A heavier T-shirt generally feels more structured; a lighter one generally feels less bulky. Use weight alongside fit and fabric composition rather than treating a higher number as automatically better.
Choosing accessories, footwear and gifts
How can I check whether a cap or beanie will fit?
Check the adjustment method and measurements rather than assuming one-size headwear fits everyone.
Our cap has an adjustable buckle strap. Our beanie has a double-layer, cuffed design. These offer different ways of wearing the item, but neither description guarantees a comfortable fit for every head size.
When you need a particular head circumference or usually find hats too tight or too loose, contact us before purchasing to check suitability.

Is the tote suitable for everyday essentials or a laptop?
Consider the bag’s opening, dimensions and protection—not just whether your belongings fit inside. Our tote has an open main compartment rather than a secure, enclosed laptop compartment.
For a laptop, compare the dimensions of your protective sleeve with the bag, leaving room for your charger and other items. Do not use the laptop’s screen size as its outside measurement.
For journeys where padded storage or a secure closure matters, choose a bag designed around those requirements rather than assuming an everyday tote provides them.

Which slides size should I choose?
Use your foot measurement and the relevant conversion chart; do not assume the same number means the same size across both listings.
The charts distinguish between UK sizes, US men’s sizes and US women’s sizes. For example, they show UK 7 as US men’s 8 and US women’s 9.5. They also separate foot length from the length of the slide itself.
Measure both feet and use the longer measurement when checking the foot-length column. Before selecting a number, check which sizing system the selector uses. Contact us when this is unclear, you fall between measurements or you need width guidance.
Do not assume the men’s version is wider: the available descriptions do not establish that difference.

What makes a good gift when I don’t know someone’s clothing size?
Start with the tote bag, which avoids choosing a clothing or shoe size. An adjustable cap is another option for someone who already enjoys wearing caps.
A hoodie or sweatshirt is easier to choose when you can compare measurements with something the recipient owns. Slides are less suitable as a surprise when you cannot check their footwear measurements.
For a birthday or event, check delivery timing before choosing the gift.

Understanding quality and care
What should I look for beyond the branding?
Look for specific fabric and construction details that you can compare. For example, our sweatshirt has double stitching at the collar, cuffs and hem—a more useful detail than a general claim of “premium quality”.
Consider those details alongside measurements and photographs. Fabric weight alone does not establish how long a garment will last, so avoid treating “heavyweight” as a durability guarantee.

How should I look after the merchandise?
Use care instructions for the individual item rather than applying one washing method to the whole range.
For clothing, check the washing, drying and ironing instructions before the first wash. Where instructions are missing or unclear, ask for guidance for the finished, decorated garment rather than guessing from its cotton content.
Both our men’s and women’s slides are spot-clean only, so they should not go into the washing machine with your clothing.

Ordering, delivery and returns
Where do you deliver, and what does shipping cost?
We currently deliver within the UK, with free shipping on all orders. International delivery is not currently offered.
How far in advance should I order for an event or gift?
Allow for production time plus an estimated 4–6 business days after dispatch. That delivery estimate is not the total time from placing your order to receiving it.
Our merchandise is made to order. For a fixed deadline, contact us before buying to check the current dispatch estimate for your selected product, colour and size. Give us the date you need it—not just the event date if you will be travelling beforehand.
Tracking information is sent by email once the order has been dispatched.

Can I change my size or delivery address, or cancel after ordering?
Contact us promptly with your order number and the change you need, or notify us that you wish to cancel.
For amendments, specify the replacement size or full corrected address. Do not assume a requested change has taken effect until you receive confirmation. Our shipping policy states that we cannot change the delivery address once an order is in transit.
Changing an order and exercising cancellation rights are different processes. The cancellation guidance below explains the distinction.

Can I return clothing if I choose the wrong size or change my mind?
For standard, non-personalised goods bought online as a UK consumer, you normally have 14 days after delivery to notify the retailer that you are cancelling, followed by another 14 days to return the goods. Exceptions can apply to genuinely personalised or custom-made products.
A cancellation refund is different from arranging a direct size exchange. Contact us to discuss an exchange and obtain return instructions before posting an item back.
Receiving the wrong size from us is also different from receiving the size you ordered and finding it does not fit. Explain which situation applies when you contact us.

What happens if my order arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect?
Contact us with your order number, a description of the problem and clear photographs where relevant. You can email merch@dsumerch.com or start a request through the Returns Portal. Ask for return instructions before posting anything back.
Faulty or misdescribed goods are covered by consumer rights, separately from change-of-mind returns. Depending on the circumstances, those rights can include a repair, replacement or refund; they do not depend on purchasing an additional warranty.
